A complete Yugambeh language program for your school

From Early Years to Year 10: workbooks for every student, Teacher’s Editions with every lesson planned, a language game your students will love, a teacher’s panel that shows who needs a hand, and a Yugambeh language mentor to guide you. No Yugambeh speaker on staff needed.

Pre-order now: the workbooks launch on Tuesday 1 December 2026.

Aligned to the curriculum

Every sheet is mapped to the Australian Curriculum’s Language Revival pathway, Foundation to Year 10, and the Early Years Learning Framework for ages 3 to 5.

Made with community

Written by a Yugambeh linguist, and taught with a Yugambeh language mentor, so the language is shared with respect.

Everything in one place

Books, lesson plans, assessment tasks, marking guides, report comments, a game and a teacher’s panel that all work together.

One pathway, from Early Years to Year 10

Each band has its own colour. Students write in their Student Book; teachers plan from the Teacher’s Edition, with notes, answers, assessment tasks and marking guides for every sheet.

Starting part-way? There’s a Start Book

In a school’s first years, most students start part-way through. A Start Book catches them up on the earlier bands in about one term, then they join their band’s Book A.

Goomp Goomp Country© and the teacher’s panel

Students learn the words from their workbooks by playing: helping the birds of Yugambeh Country remember their language. Every word is spoken by a Yugambeh speaker.

The teacher’s panel shows where every student is up to, who needs a hand and which words are fading, and helps you plan the week, run live lessons and write reports.

A Yugambeh language mentor, included

Schools ordering 150 or more Student Books a year have a Yugambeh language mentor included in their package, to support your teachers through the year and guide the language with respect.

  • You don’t need a Yugambeh speaker on staff
  • Smaller schools can ask us about mentorship

A planner for every teacher

Many teachers feel nervous about teaching a language they’re still learning. The Teacher’s Planner 2027 is a spiral-bound planner and diary that makes them feel prepared, every single week.

  • Every week already planned, for every year level, with sheet numbers
  • A word and phrase of the week, with how to say it
  • What to say when you don’t know a word, cultural notes, and a page for your support team
  • Class lists, assessment records, mentor visit notes and “Words I’ve learned”

Teaching, assessment and reports, done for you

Every Teacher’s Edition has notes and answers for every sheet, two assessment tasks a band with marking guides, and a bank of report comments. The teacher’s panel turns them into grades and draft comments in minutes.

  • Speaking, listening, reading and writing, every week, including speaking practice: students record themselves saying a word or sentence, and, if you turn it on, the recordings come to the panel as evidence
  • Evidence for reporting straight from the game
  • Adjustments for students with disability, with an NCCD evidence record
